IMPORTANT – Cyber Safety Parent Meeting

At the start of this year all our teachers worked with John Parsons, the country’s leading child cyber safety expert. He is very up to date with issues that schools, student and parents/whānau need to consider to stay safe in today’s online world. This issues John raises are prevalent right here in our own community. I would strongly recommend that every parent in the school plan to attend one of the two parent/whānau evenings that schools will be hosting in our area in 2016. The first of these is 7.30pm, next Wednesday 30th March, to be held at Matamata Intermediate School. The later meeting will be in July, so if you will be busy in July, cancel all other engagements for the sake of your children, and get out and hear John next week.
